Samaritan Home Care
Samaritan Home Care is a service of Samaritan Regional Health
System offering skilled health care services to patients in the
protective environment of their own home. Home care is for the
acutely ill, the elderly or the homebound patient who could benefit
from such services.
Once the patient's physician determines a need for home care
services, the physician and the home care professionals work closely
to determine what services would be most beneficial. Samaritan Home
Care offers skilled nursing care, physical and occupational therapy,
medical social services and certified home health aide services.
The staff at Samaritan Home Care will explain all costs and help
patients find the best source of payment to meet their needs. Fees
for Samaritan Home Care services may be paid in part or full by one
or more of the following:
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Major Medical Insurance
- Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs)
- Worker's Compensation
Samaritan Home Care is an approved PASSPORT provider and
accredited by the Joint
Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(JCAHO). It also is certified by the Ohio
Department of Health.
