Emergency Medicine

Samaritan Regional Health System's (SRHS) Emergency Department (ED) strives to assure patient needs are met in a compassionate, comfortable, safe and timely manner.

Seeing an average of 27,000 patients per year at Samaritan Hospital, the ED staff of clinically proficient nurses and physicians treat and release patients quickly, depending on the severity of the case. SRHS has a full range of clinical support including multi-slice CT, MRI, Cath Lab, a full-time laboratory, X-ray services within the ED, and other diagnostic imaging services adjacent to the ED that contribute to the ED's quick, quality patient care.

Samaritan's ED cares for all age groups with a broad range of medical needs. Whether a sore throat, chest pain or trauma, patients can expect fast response and careful attention.

For people injured on the job, the ED has a close relationship with aims-Occupational Health Services. This connection helps employees and employers with return-to-work issues.

A trip to the ED for any patient can be a time of fear and anxiety. At SRHS, staff members are prepared to meet the needs of patients and families while focusing on the needs of each individual. SRHS is working to partner with you -- and your loved ones -- for a future of wellness.
