Speech/Language Pathology

Licensed/certified therapists provide individualized speech/language pathology care for inpatients and outpatients. Through these services, we assess and treat infants to geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses which include:

Bell’s Palsy and other facial/oral motor deficits
Developmental delay for speech/language
Hearing impairment
Fluency (stuttering)
Tracheostomy/ventilator dependent
Voice disorders
Traumatic brain injury
Cognitive deficits
Accent Reduction
Specialized services include:
Blom-Singer Voice Prosthesis evaluation, fitting and modification (TEP)
Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
Neuromuscular Electric Stimulation of Swallowing (Vital Stim)
Passy-Muir Speaking Valve
Universal Newborn Infant Hearing Screenings
Augmentative and Alternative Communication Device Training (AAC)
Referrals for audiological services as needed
Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS)
