Welcome to Samaritan Regional Health System, or SRHS, as affectionately coined by the community. Nearly 100 years ago, local philanthropists Jesse Lewis and Mary Clark gifted Samaritan Hospital to the City of Ashland. It was a modern marvel…a beacon filled with energetic hope and unending generosity, as the Clark’s determined it to be “a hospital where no sick person would ever be refused care.”
Now more than ever, we embrace the significance of our origin, and proudly inherit the legacy of our great founders.
Whether you are here for an outpatient procedure or an extended stay, please know that each of our employees, volunteers, nurses, chaplains and physicians are dedicated to your physical, mental and spiritual wellness.
