Impact of Childhood Events

University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center’s Todd Yordy will present “Childhood Trauma’s Lifelong Impact” on Thursday, November 15 from 5 – 6 p.m. The free presentation will be held at UH Samaritan on Main, 663 East Main Street.

Childhood experiences impact lifelong health and opportunity. ACE, or adverse childhood experiences, have been linked to risky health behavior, chronic health conditions, low life potential and early death. Yordy, a counselor, will talk about ACE, how it addresses a myriad of social problems, and how it is revolutionizing healthcare.
