UH Samaritan Counselor Discusses Depression

University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center’s Todd Yordy will present “Depression” on Monday, April 23 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The free presentation will be held at UH Samaritan on Main, 663 East Main Street.

Almost everyone feels depressed at some point in their life, so it may be challenging to know when to seek help. Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a mental health disorder known as a mood disorder, and is characterized by a feeling of hopelessness and helplessness.  Yordy, a counselor, will talk about the symptoms and treatment options for MDD.
