“Botox® Cosmetics” will be presented by Faranak Zarrabi, M.D.
Botox® is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. Botulinum exotoxin is widely used in the treatment of facial lines resulting from the pull of muscles of facial expression.
It is a nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe wrinkle lines by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause those persistent wrinkle lines.
During treatment, very low doses of Botox® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines.
