Heartsaver AED
Recommended for anyone who does not require more advanced CPR training (BLS).
The goal of this program is to train and/or refresh non-clinical staff in basic CPR techniques. At the end of the Heartsaver class the participant will be able to demonstrate knowledge related to CPR, obstructed airway (ie; choking), and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) through performance on manikins according to AHA guidelines.
This course is facilitated by AHA certified BLS instructors.
Fee structure:
No charge to Samaritan Regional Health System employees and physicians
$40 = Non-employees
Course books are available for loan or purchase
