Incredibly, someone in America needs blood every two seconds. But, according to the American Red Cross, only a small percentage of those who are eligible to donate actually do so.
If you are at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in overall good health, you are an eligible blood donor. YOU could save someone's life.
Please bring a valid photo ID and a list of all current medications with you when donating blood, which you can do every 56 days.
Nearly five million patients a year are counting on you for the life-or-death difference you can make.
