"I just want to take a minute to thank the STAR CLUB for helping me with my huge propane bill from last heating season. I never thought I would be in a needy situation, but as we all know, things beyond our control do happen. Last year was a rough year for myself and my two children. My husband and I divorced after 14 years of marriage. This all came three months after building a new home. I decided to keep my home and try to make it on my own without having to upheave my kids from their environment. Due to the increase in fuel costs, I had a large heating bill that I had left over from last winter. Thanks to the STAR CLUB, I am now caught up on my propane bill. Since the STAR CLUB has had such a huge impact on making my family's lives a bit easier, I have since become a member myself. I hope to give back some of the caring and compassion that was shown to me in a difficult time."
"Praise God for you! We are truly blessed by your kindness. Just today we received another bill for our stay at Grant Hospital in the amount of $63,000. And this does not yet include the physicians' bills. In the midst of the mail, we received your kind gift. Prayers certainly were answered by the kindness of your hearts. "We want to thank the STAR CLUB for the wonderful gift of the gas card. In the brochure, it says the STAR CLUB is a special group of employees. Special group indeed! When things like this happens to a family, it really sends your life upside down. Even though it has been a month since our son's accident, we still don't know if we are coming or going.
