PALS Renewal
Recommended for RN's, Physicians, EMT's, CPS, Pharmacy.
The goal of this 1 day program is to review and refresh patient care staff and other ancillary staff in Pediatric Advanced Life Support techniques. It is designed to maintain acceptable competence levels in advanced pediatric emergencies and life support. Current certification in BLS and PALS is required before attending this class.
At the end of the class the participant will be able to demonstrate knowledge related to American Heart Association's PALS through written exam and perform PALS on mannequins in mock code situations according to AHA PALS guidelines.
This course is facilitated by AHA certified PALS instructors.
There are no CE's awarded for this renewal program.
